I read from what you have mentioned that we also do provide concessions for tertiary students. that's a common fact that everyone knows. And obviously from your reply you are just trying to pacify some of the ignorant Singaporeans who don't know that the price of tertiary concession is so much different from the primary school and secondary school students.

See for yourself, the difference is almost $20 a big jump from secondary. The most infuriating thing is that JC students get to get the concession at the secondary level. Why is this so? And they get to pay children fare when they board the bus/mrt. Why polytechnic students and universities must pay the adult fare? We are all full time student, what’s the difference? The only difference is that JC students wear uniform and we don’t. Wearing the uniform means we get to pay $20 less each month? Even the NS men who get their pay monthly is only paying a mere $10 for concession. I think you should look into this matter seriously. It has been there and nothing has been done to it. You are getting your pay, aren’t you?? Can we be heard? Do you want your votes? Next election?
